Food Network
Continuing their collaboration with premier broadcasters, Cyber-Scan Films and Grayscale Creative teamed with the Food Network during launch of their new HD channel.
To create a campaign of unique commercials Cyber-Scan and Grayscale crafted spots utilizing both studio tabletop segments—featuring styled food in a controlled environment, and live action location segments—spotlighting people and food uniting in an organic, natural setting.
Working with preeminent Food Stylist Norman Stewart and Photographer Natasha Lee, Director Randolph Scott supervised the stage portions of the spots. For several days the crew salivated as mouth watering gourmet dishes were created in a mobile kitchen on site.
Meanwhile, careful prop styling designed to augment each dish was crafted by shopping at trend setting shops in and around Los Angeles.
After the studio portion of the shoot was completed two second unit teams directed by Christopher Crook went on location throughout Los Angeles. Actors in the spots visited food centric shops and sights such as the Downtown Farmer’s market and select artisan fine foods and spirits shops in Beverly Hills.
In post production Grayscale Creative combined the various elements into a stylish series of spots made for food lovers by food lovers.
