Food Network: HD Campaign
Continuing their collaboration with premier broadcasting brands, Cyber-Scan Films teamed-up with the Food Network during the launching of their new HD channel.
To create a campaign of unique commercials Cyber-Scan crafted spots utilizing both studio tabletop segments – where featured food could be styled in a controlled environment, and live action location segments – where food and people could come together in an organic natural setting.
Working with preeminent Food Stylist Norman Stewart and Photographer Natasha Lee, Director Randolph Scott supervised the stage portions of the spots. For several days the crew salivated as gourmet dish after mouth watering dish was created in a mobile kitchen on site specifically to be photographed and filmed for the spots.
Meanwhile careful prop styling designed to augment each dish was crafted by shopping at trend setting shops in and around Los Angeles.
After the studio portion of the shoot was completed two second unit teams directed by Christopher Crook went on location throughout Los Angeles. Actors in the spots visited food centric shops and sights such as the Downtown Farmer’s market and select artisan fine foods and spirits shops in Beverly Hills.
In post production Greyscale Creative combined the various elements into a stylish series of spots made for food lovers by food lovers.
